Who We Are

IMPACT Minerals LLC was established by its Principal, John Newcaster in 2016

John is a Metallurgical Engineer by degree who has worked as a process metallurgist in the world’s premier electrical transformer core and electric motor steel plant.

 

After a time in steelmaking John was recruited by his employer to lead segments of its Oilfield Equipment Division eventually becoming GM of its Derrick Service International subsidiary.

 

John moved from oilfield equipment to oilfield services in 1992, becoming Manufacturing and Supply Chain VP at M-I SWACO (now SLB Fluids), Manufacturing and Supply Chain VP at Baker Hughes Drilling Fluids, and VP of Logistics and Distribution for Baker Hughes Company until 2016.

 

Since its inception in 2016, IMPACT has been serving as a unique resource to miners of oilfield minerals (OFMs) looking for new clients in end user community.
